We are seeking an experienced cook to create healthy and filling food with a playful twist! At Branches we want to nourish and nuture our community and have fun while we're at it! A hard working, reliable person, you will already have a reasonable level of experience. You will be able to run the kitchen competently and you might welcome the chance to guide and instruct volunteers. You will have a passion for locally sourced cooked foods, a pride in your work and the desire to exceed customer expectations. Honesty, empathy for young people, and the ability to work as part of a team is important to us.
This is a full time permanent position, we are positive about job share. You will be supported by the Cafe Manager and a committed management team. Working hours will be between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday with flexibility and the occasional evening for training and team building. You do not need to have experience of working with young people but you will be open to helping them fulfill their potential.
Pay is £9.00/hour or £17,550 pro rata.

We are seeking a a team member with experience as a barista. The duties for this role will include delivering excellent customer service and serving customers in a welcoming and friendly manner (no matter what their age!), offering and making coffee choices and training the rest of the team in barista techniques, basic food preparation, ensuring kitchen, service and public areas are kept clean, tidy and safe. Other duties will include cashiering and stock rotation. Honesty, a passion for young people, and the ability to work as part of a team is important to us. This is a 6 month full time contract. Working hours will be Mon-Fri 11am-6pm with occasional Saturday working to ensure the Saturday service is consistent with the rest of the week. Salary £15,600 pro rata.
