Branches Team ready to welcome you to the new Cafe.

On Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th July Branches Cafe opened its doors for the first time for a couple of taster sessions.

Young people were invited to join us, give us some feedback on the café and our menu, and enjoy free ice cream (courtesy of our local Iceland Store).

We had about 30 young customers who visited. They met some of the team members, played games and chatted in their new space. They also had a first look at our exciting Summer Program.

Thank you for coming and we hope to see you again!

Branches at Dean Court Community Breakfast

On Sunday 27th May,  Branches Volunteers and Young People Served the monthly Community Breakfast at the Dean Court Community centre.

It was a fun morning and turnout was good considering it was a Bank Holiday weekend at the start of half term and Common People was on and Liverpool had just played in the Champions League Final.

Thanks for inviting us to do this, it was a great chance to raise our profile as we prepare to open.

Also, a small thanks for the support Dean Court gave us hosting our Favours Auction back in February.

Wow! What a fantastic evening!

A massive thank-you to all our, and Bridges, supporters who helped out and came along to the auction, and bought food and drink.

Also, a huge thank-you to all the individuals and companies who donated favours.

Plus a gigantic thank-you to all those who bid and sent those prices soaring.

In total, we have raised approx    £4200 to support the work of

Botley Bridges and Branches

                                                                 Young Peoples' Support Services.

BRANCHES at Kings Centre Harvest Fayre

Two of our Young Leaders ran a stall for Branches at the Kings Centre Harvest Fayre.

As well as the brilliant cakes, shown, our Fabulous Proper Chocolate Flapjacks, Lemon Muffins and Scones with Strawberry Jam were on sale.

It was a great opportunity to raise our profile and to let the Young Leaders take the lead!

Meanwhile, the Directors made links with potential suppliers for the cafe and stall holders with arts and crafts skills.

BRANCHES at Friends of Raleigh Park AGM

After visiting the RAISE pop-up cafe, a customer commissioned Branches to provide some cakes for the Friends of Raleigh Park AGM.

We happily agreed and provided some of our Proper Chocolate Flapjacks and a home-baked Carrot Cake.

The feedback was that they were much enjoyed.

Thanks to the volunteer bakers who made the flapjacks and Carrot Cake and thanks to the Friends of Raleigh Park for their custom and support.

Branches is rooted in the community of Botley.

We believe that a community needs a place where people can come together to chat, eat, drink and laugh.

Above all, we believe that young people need a safe space of their own to play, learn and grow.
